Shilen gets talked about and has some fans for sure but I figure its kind of a roll of the dice anyways. Does Criterion seem to make a comparable quality barrel, or should I just go with whats a known brand to me?

Jan 15, 2011 · Anyway my 10/22 with the ER shaw barrel shot .850 center to center at 75m. and my CZ452 shot .6 center to center. Both were 10 shot groups. My CZ has a 1.5lb trigger weight and was outfitted with a leupold 3-10 mk4 m3. The 10/22 has a 4-16 pst which is a bit washed out and breaks at almost 5 pounds. They are on mid-eighties rifles. Less than half inch groups easy at 50 yds, using good SV ammo. At my age & eyes,I don't shoot as well as I use to. I think a younger fellow would have the ragged hole thing going on!
