Sig p320 takedown lever stuck.

Exact same issue. 1st time I pushed the guide rod back just a little bit from the front of the gun and that got it unstuck and swung right into the 7:00 position where it came apart smoothly. 2nd time I just got a little more rough with it and it let loose and again went to the 7:00 position and came apart smoothly.Lock the slide in proper position / alignment, then you should be able to wiggle the locking insert into the frame. But if thats not your issue, and its cleared of mag, release the slide back to normal, hand rack it a bunch of times, lock the slide back and see if your gas pedal can go fully down.I had the FCU out just to get an idea of how it worked and somehow the trigger was pulled before I was putting the FCU module in the gun. After getting the FCU back in the hand grip module, I installed the slide and couldn't get the take-down lever in. I could not get the slide back off either. I was able to pull the slide/FCU back out together.

To handle the takedown safety lever, just put what’s left of the takedown lever back in and twist that. I’ve broken so many of these now that it’s a 2 minute procedure.

(M18 X-Change kit is on back order). Hello all, The slide is stuck on the frame. I cannot get the slide back far enough to lock it and turn the take down pin from 3:00 to 6:00. The take down pin is fully inserted and in the correct position. I also cannot insert a magazine. It is a brand new M 18 X-Change kit on a X full frame...Instead of an "all at once" cam on the ramp, it's more gradual. That and some oil makes the lever work much better. There is still a minor friction when taking down the fully assembled 320. That friction is not present on the return path of the TDL. It's a weird problem.
